The digital element offered by this new Mirri product also allows for personalised print, which is a growth area.

Richard Gillgrass, Managing Director for Mirri and Celloglas, commented “Mirri Pak for HP Indigo is set to be an important part of the Mirri range, it’s early days and sales are already very encouraging on a global basis”.

Richard added; “Mirri Pak for HP Indigo has a speciality formulated primer coating, making it suitable for the HP Indigo range. This major innovation is one of a number of projects that we have been working on recently and we are very proud to be one of very few metallic substrates that have been certified”.

Mirri Pak for HP Indigo is available direct from Mirri and will be made in the UK. Plans are also being made for global distribution, and is already available from Mirri US distributor, Legion Paper.

Andy Kirby, General Manager at Mirri, commented “ Mirri already has a strong global distribution network and we believe Mirri Pak for HP Indigo will further strengthen our international sales”.

Mirri Pak for HP Indigo is also certified for use with Color-LogicTM. The Process Metallic Color SystemTM by Color-Logic is a patent pending technology which empowers its users to create and print striking special effect designs.

Mirri Pak for HP Indigo has already sparked interest from several HP Indigo printing companies including Image Evolution based in Reading, Easibind in Derby and ProCo print in Sheffield, all of which have printed digitally using the new substrate.

Harry Skidmore, Director from Easibind commented “We have quickly included Mirri Pak for HP Indigo in our new innovations range swatch, printed on the recently installed HP Indigo 560. The innovations range swatch has been presented at Dscoop Europe, held in Barcelona this month. This new Mirri substrate has a lot of sales potential across several markets we operate in and the print results so far have been stunning”.
