Conference Passport printed on Mirri

Color-Logic—developer of the popular Process Metallic Color System—provided the door prize passport booklet at the June 2011 HOW Design Live conference in Chicago. The passport booklet, featuring a metallic image produced using the Color-Logic process, enabled HOW Conference participants to qualify for a prize by visiting 16 sponsors at the exhibition and having their passport stamped. Attendees completing the passport were eligible for gift cards donated by Apple.

The passport was digitally printed on Mirri Pak Bright Silver material by US printer O’Neil Printing Inc on an HP Indigo 5000 with white ink. The sheets were precoated in the UK with a digital primer. After printing, the sheets were gloss varnished using a Kompac coater.

The stunning sports car image, with special effects, was produced using only five inks (CMYK plus white), using the Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System.

Mirri is a Color-Logic Certified Partner. Color Logic certified the Mirri substrates in October 2010.
